| This past Wednesday morning was the first I noticed our Cicada invasion. The Cicada lives underground most of their life and emerge every 13 years. This is the year for us! |
The Cicada emerges from the ground looking like this.

| Then they molt and emerge from their shell, with wings and beady red eyes. |

| The brown hard shell is left behind. |
