Its hard to believe that its been 5 years since we first were able to hold you.
From the moment you were born, you kept us guessing what you would do next.

You are loving, fun and always rambunctious - never a dull moment when you are around!

You let everyone around you know how much you love them.

You give the best HUGS and you hand them out abundantly!

Happy #1 Birthday Cole!

Even though the day you arrived went without a hitch, oh I will forever remember the 9 months leading up to that. I knew already that you had spark, determination and a zest for adventure.


Your birth was much anticipated by many...but no more than two older brothers that adored you from the beginning. You are still affectionately known by many as "Baby Cole" and have earned the nickname of "Colie" from your biggest brother, Caiden.


You are always on the move. You enjoy climbing on top of things and of course, you love the outdoors.


Your infectious grin doesn't go unnoticed by anyone. And, your "mohawk" hairdo gets a lot of attention. You are certainly making yourself known in our family. We are all still trying to figure out exactly who you look alike, mommy or daddy?


We can't wait to see what God has in store for you in the years ahead. But, for now, can you just stop climbing up the stairs?

Happy Birthday Dawson #4!

From the moment you were born with a head full of jet black hair and those adorable chubby cheeks, we knew that you marched to the beat of a different drum.


You have an infectious laugh and mischievous nature with a desire to have fun in everything that goes on. You never want to miss everything and love to do everything that your big brother does.


You are caring, sensitive and shy around strangers for a few minutes before you get to know them. Your favorite thing right now is your Nintendo DS. You shout out the world when you are playing it. You are not too keen on playing in a big pool of water but you've made great strides in that this summer.


You are fun to be around and brighten our day with your quirky remarks and precious smile. We love you and can't believe you are four. My...how time flies. We love you lil' man. We can't wait to see what the next year brings!

Happy Birthday Caiden. Its hard to believe your 6 years old. I thought I knew true love but I experienced a whole new meaning to "love" when I became your mom. I remember just how wonderful I felt when I held you for the first time. Enjoy your day sweet boy!

Dale's Turns 39!

The same day as my Gram's party was Dale's actual birthday. So, we decided that later that evening we'd throw him a surprise party. Thanks to all the family and friends that showed up to surprise him. He had a blast. Can't you tell by the look on his face?!



We decorated in dinosaurs for the party. My mom found these dinosaurs (which we later figured out were actually dragons) and we hung them from the ceiling for the party. The boys ended up playing with them and now sleep with them. Here they are showing off their dragons. Cole can actually ride his.

Gram turns #80!

In March, we traveled back to Michigan to celebrate my gram's 80th birthday. For her birthday, she wanted to have a party with several of her friends who she plays cards with. It was an afternoon of much fun. Doesn't she look great for 80 years old. I hope I inherit those genes!

Dawson's Birthday at Chuck-e-Cheese

We celebrated Dawson's birthday with a trip to Chuck-e-Cheese. We paid the extra to have Chuck-e bring the cake and sing "Happy Birthday." It was extra-special. He wasn't too sure of him at first but then warmed up a bit. Thanks for all the birthday wishes!

You have a kooky, fun, loving, sweet, all-boy side of you that comes out just about every minute of the day.

Papa's Birthday Surprise

Caiden and Dawson's Papa was extremely surprised at his 60th birthday party. We had so much fun planning it. I think it was at least an hour before it really sunk it that it was HIS birthday party. Here's the photos to prove we had fun!
