Summer Fun!

Here's a look at a few things we did around the house during the summer months.

!Snow!

Snow much fun!

Ah...the first snowfall of the season...

 Then, we got a little more snow...

 And, a little more!

 We've had more snow this year than we have seen since moving here in 2003.

At school, we have even used 11 of our 13 allotted snow days.

Tennessee roads are quite interesting in the ice/snow.

But, boy is it fun!  Sledding like nothing we experienced growing up.

We've had a blast of a winter...can't you tell?

Monster Jam 2011

The boys recieved Monster Jam tickets for Christmas.  The event was held in January.  Here are some of the pics from that night.

 The boys decided to take their daddy, along with his friend Jim.  Cole and I enjoyed a quiet night at home.

Baseball Season Ends

Both Caiden and Dawson ended their baseball seasons just a few weeks ago. Here are some pics from their parties and medal ceremonies.

Halloween Weekend

We started the weekend with pumpkin carving...Caiden's spider.

Then, we went to the fall festival at our church. Here's Cole with one of our props for our small group trunk.

Meeting Shannon Ruth

The girls in our family (my mom, gram, sister and niece) came to visit us for a weekend in September. This was the first time Shannon Ruth had been to our house. This was also the first time the boys were able to meet her. Of course, they loved her...here are the pics to prove it!

Dawson's First Home Depot Project

Earlier this month, Dawson and Caiden participated in Home Depots kids' project - a school bus pencil box. Here are some pics from that event.

1st Day of School

Caiden is a 1st grader this year. That is hard to believe. The boys started school about 2 weeks ago. Caiden was so excited he couldn't sleep the night before. But, he was up and ready to go that morning.

Dawson is in pre-k mom's day out, 2 days a week this year. He started school the day after Caiden did. He was also very excited about the new school year. Can't you tell?
