Project Update 1

A few weeks ago, I posted about our next project - redoing the landscaping in our front yard. Thanks for craigslist our "rock" wall is gone. Who would have known that so many people would want someone's old busted up concrete? Pretty cool!

Weekend with Reggie

Our friends, Cliff & Val have a dog named Reggie. They had to be out of town this past weekend so we had the opportunity to dog-watch Reggie. The boys had a blast playing with him. Our dog, Nicki had been a part of our family for so long that by the time the boys got to know her, she was already too old to really play. They got a taste of what a young dog is like and had so much fun. Come see us again sometime Reggie!

Just a week ago...

Its really hard to believe that a week ago, this tornado tore through Murfreesboro, less than 10 miles from our house. As you read this, please remember to pray for those families affected by this disaster. Thank you Lord for the blessings you've given us, even the midst of such chaos and tragedy.

A Guest Post

This is a guest post by my husband, Dale about a conversation that took place in the truck between him and Caiden. This is what he wrote...

While Caiden was looking at my mapbook, he said,

"Daddy you know if you don’t have a map you can use a GPS." He said,

"a GPS tells you where you are at so you don’t get lost."

I thought to myself, "boy this is great he is just like me, how smart this boy is, he knows what a GPS is."

Then he proceeded to ask me, "how do you spell GPS?"

I then again thought to myself, "boy he is really like me….can't spell." He said he thought there were more letters to spell GPS.

Easter Weekend Pics

It was a fun packed Easter weekend. Our church hosted an Easter Carnival on Saturday (mainly the reason I haven't had the extra time to blog in 11 days) and then we had Easter services on Sunday. Enjoy the pics!
