Florida Bound

Wow...getting ready for a vacation surely takes all of the energy out that you can possible muster. Once we got on the plane yesterday, I was totally zapped. It was just one of those weeks - crazy, crazy, crazy. We arrived in Florida safely and are here for the week. It feels so great to just sit and relax. Caiden was so excited to be in "Florida" although he has no idea what that means. Kids are so fun and so real all of the time. I can't wait to see his eyes when we get to see the castle at the Magic Kingdom. I'll be sharing some of those stories and pics with you. Have a great week...you know I will!

Happy 4th Birthday Caiden!

Four years ago, you came in to our life. What a tender, compassionate heart you have and oh, much intelligence. We can't imagine what our life was like before we knew you. We love you - sweet, sweet boy. We pray for you every day and hope that God continues to bless your life with much fruit. We can't wait to see what He has in store.

- Love, your mom & dad

Oh what a sweet, sweet day...

We celebrated Caiden's 4th birthday today with his playgroup friends (even though today is not Caiden's original birthday which is May 13). The day was enchanting and surreal. First, I can't believe that my baby is 4 years old.

Second, I can't believe that we decided to hire someone to keep a bunch of 2-5 year olds occupied - see pictures below - what fun that was. And, third...I can't believe that makes me a year older too, so that's why my bones ache all the time.

Anyway, we topped the day off with going out on the lake in our little boat. We caught and released 3 fish. It was so much fun. Now, we are tired, sun burned and happy. Oh, what a sweet, sweet day. Thank you Lord for the blessings in my life - my precious family and friends.

Cabin Jr.

My husband is a "project" guy and is very handy around the house. I think he could build anything. And to keep us on track around the house, he keeps a list of projects on our refridgerator. If we have spare time on an afternoon, he looks at the list and gets to it. He has more perserverance in his little finger than I have in my entire body.

So, I introduce you to Cabin Jr. Dale's latest project made, engineered and constructed just for our boys.

In case you are wondering, Cabin Sr. is owned by a friend of Dale's in Lynchburg, TN. We recieved the wood from him as a gift to Dale for all his help on his cabin the past few months.
